Recognizing Student & Professional Artists

By Invitation Only was inaugurated in 2020 and first implemented in 2021. Youth artists across the state of Maryland were invited to participate by submitting their artwork in select disciplines (dance, film/video, music, photography, visual arts) for presentation and recognition. Because of COVID-19, the recognition is being held virtually on August 10, 2021. In future iterations of the program, UMOJA Works will host presentations from professional Baltimore area artists, particularly those hailing from the underserved communities served by UMOJA Works.
